• No socket changes, uses shunted or non-shunted sockets
• Operates on most electronic T8 (instant & programmed) and battery backup ballasts
• Instantaneous full light output upon power-up
• 11.5/15W available with shatterproof PET coating
• Frosted glass lens reduces visual glare
• Suitable for use in totally enclosed fixtures
• No rewiring or modifications of any kind required
• Does not operate on magnetic ballasts
• Does not operate on T12 ballasts
• Can be operated on fluorescent battery backup
• Use of an incompatible ballast, poor socket connection or other improper installation can result in reduced lamp lifetime, arcing or localized overheating
