High-Efficiency ballasts deliver greater savings
When you consider that energy costs are approximately 80% of the overall cost of light, obtaining the right ballast at the right price is critical. operation, if one lamp fails, all of the others in the fixture remain in full function making maintenance minimal. And the anti-striation control on our ballasts eliminates
the maintenance issues caused by striating lamps. The overall result is exactly what you’ve grown to expect from Howard – another one of our best-in-class ballasts that can significantly reduce the maintenance frustration your customers may be experiencing from the competition.

With Howard Lighting Products, you can rest assured that we won’t put our name on it until it surpasses our high standards for quality, value, and performance. For that reason, every ballast manufactured at Howard is tested and proven beyond UL requirements before it is shipped to you. In fact, we thoroughly test each product so that you can expect a top-quality product straight from the box. Plus, all of our ballasts are backed by a 5-year limited warranty and carry a complete system warranty when your customers use Howard T8 lamps (60 months for ballasts and 30 months for lamps).

• Ballast shall have a lamp operating frequency greater than 40kHz
• Ballast shall have a 0°F minimum lamp starting temperature for primary lamp
• Ballast shall be Instant Start
• Ballast shall be Parallel Lamp Operation
• Ballast shall have minimum Power Factor of 98% for primary Lamp operation
• Ballast shall operate within +/- 10% of the ballast specified line voltage at 60 Hz
• Ballast shall have a maximum case hot spot temperature of 70° Celsius
