Nora Lighting’s 3" low voltage housing provides soft, brilliant JC or crisp, defined MR16 quartz halogen illumination to any application. Airtight option offers energy savings by reducing the flow of air through the ceiling. A wide variety of attractive trims provide beautiful decorative enhancements to any ceiling. 

Transformer:

Air Tight (AT): Available with air-tight housings that include a pre-installed gasket to restrict airflow from room into ceiling plenum (See specification)

Minimum Clearances: Non-IC housing requires minimum clearances of 3" from thermal insulation and 1/2" from adjacent building components

Ceiling Thickness: Housing accepts 3/8" - 5/8"

Lamp Adjustment: Circular bracket on low voltage trims provides a secure snap-in hold and friction-locked aiming adjustment. Trims for JC sockets have sockets preset for optimum angle and light output.

UV/Shatter Guard Shield: All low voltage trims include a tempered UV/shatter shield. 

Dimming: Use magnetic low voltage dimming control with magnetic transformer or electronic low voltage dimming control with electronic transformer

Installation: High tension tempered steel springs secure remodel housings evenly to ceiling; hole cutout template provided for convenience. 

Junction Box: Contains one 3/4", two 1/2" knockouts and four Romex® pryouts with strain relief

Wattage: 20W-50W (actual wattage varies with trim)

Lamp: 12V MR16 or Bi-Pin GY6.35. Approved for use Soraa LED lamps with electronic transformer.
